Meet the Founders

In addition to leading EMS EFX, Elson is a founder, entrepreneur, and creative professional whose work spans technology, media, music, and mission-driven leadership.

For decades, Elson has worked across a wide range of creative and technical disciplines. As a programmer and coder with over 25 years of hands-on experience, his expertise spans web design and development, animation, video production and editing, image restoration and enhancement, graphic design, audio engineering, podcast production, digital publishing, songwriting, music production, arranging, and multimedia content creation.

His professional career began in broadcasting at WAVY-TV 10 in Portsmouth, Virginia, where he worked as a sound board engineer, audio editor, and producer before entering military service.

Elson served honorably in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1985, completing his service as an Electronics Technician First Class (ET1). Following his military career, he earned an MBA with a minor in Performing Arts and went on to establish multiple successful businesses centered on media production, technology, and creative services.

Over the years, Elson transitioned from live performance to focusing primarily on producing, writing, directing, and developing innovative media solutions that blend storytelling with emerging technology.

Today, Elson continues leading EMS EFX while also overseeing EGS3 Sound Works. Through Oasis Voices of Humanity Foundation and its OVH Music Access initiative, he remains committed to expanding access to music, instruments, and creative opportunities for students and schools throughout Texas.

Margaret serves as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of EMS EFX, bringing decades of leadership, organizational management, communications, and executive-level operational experience.

Her background includes executive administration, communications, operations management, organizational leadership, writing, content development, and business support.

Margaret also served with distinction for 23 years in the United States Navy, retiring honorably as a Chief Petty Officer (AW). During her military career she served aboard the USS Midway (CV-41) during Operation Frequent Wind as part of Carrier Air Group Five (CAG-5), earning her Air Warfare designation.

She later served in high-level communications assignments supporting Admirals and senior Navy leadership as a Flag Writer. Her career also included emergency response efforts following the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake and service during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm alongside Vice Admiral Edwin R. "Rudy" Kohn Jr.

Today, Margaret oversees the financial and operational management of EMS EFX while continuing to support EGS3 Sound Works. Alongside Elson, she also helps guide Oasis Voices of Humanity Foundation and its OVH Music Access program, supporting opportunities that place music and musical instruments into the hands of students and schools across Texas.
